Abstract:An analytical method is introduced in this workshop as a methodology and research approach to law based on the viewpoint of "law and economics and the economic analysis of law." The workshop covers research on public law enforcement theory, centering on studies by the speaker in recent years. Firstly, how the conventional analytical framework can be extended is discussed with a focus on the characteristics of organized crime. Secondly, the feasibility of policies that are socially desirable is discussed through an examination of cases in which policy related to public law enforcement is determined by a political process.
