Location:Zoom

Target : Open to ISS members only

Abstract:The Social Science of Measurement research group aims to examine various issues such as what "measurement" is, how "measurements" are made, and what the social consequences of measurement may be. In this workshop, I will outline our current awareness of the issues and then present some social science questions related to the measurement of phenomena and values. In the time allowed, I would like to provide a forum for discussion among the workshop participants (as well as prospective participants in our institute-wide joint research project) of our shared interest in the subject.
