Title：Frontiers of libertarianism

Abstract：This workshop explores the nature and significance of libertarianism, which is commonly translated in Japanese as "自由至上主義." To do so, we consider a variety of philosophers in the tradition, including John Locke, Robert Nozick, and contemporary libertarians on the left and right. We also examine new developments in libertarianism, such as libertarian paternalism and debates over basic income.
